Book Update!

Hello, friends!
So it is no doubt that we have had a severe delay at this point with the physical books. With COVID being so prominent in the U.S, big and small corporations have been struggling. We have been trying to work with one of our printers and be patient; however, at this point, all we have gotten is ETAs that have not been hit. So, we decided to pull back from that printer and go with a local shop we use for our smaller print runs.
We met with the new printer in person the other day, and they are totally up to the task of getting these books printed. It will take them 1-2 weeks to get it done; however, we do estimate this to be faster than the other shop that has told us that multiple times now. Our local shop has always been great with printing on time. However, they have been closed or doing small runs since March, but now they are ready to rock.
We understand if you are frustrated. We are as well. We wanted to knock this out of the park and feel as if we are letting you down. We hope you all enjoy the books once you receive them! They will be just as awesome as the PDFs!
If you have any questions, please let me know! I'll update again once the books are in our hands.

Hello, friends!
It has been a bit since our last update, so I thought I would swoop in with the most recent information I have been given from our printer. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, our printer has been working on a severely limited staff. They have been working on the books, and they told us they should be done by the end of this week. We sincerely apologize for the delay on this. This is certainly one of those "cannot believe it" scenarios that would delay one of our projects. We're working to amend this delay with all of you so you can get to gaming!
We hope you are all enjoying the PDFs! Again, if you for some reason the gods cursed your inbox and you never received your PDF, message us here. I'll get it taken care of ASAP.
While COVID has been tough on many businesses, we have taken this time to work ahead on a couple of projects. We have a level 3-10 campaign book for 5e preparing to launch here on Kickstarter next week! Generally I do not like launching a project when I have one that is still being fulfilled; however, I trust in our printer to keep working through the struggles that this pandemic has, literally, plagued us with. Since I personally will be packaging the books, I can guarantee that once they land here in Michigan, they will be back out in the mail to all of you within 2-3 days.

PDFs are Sent!

Hello, friends!
The PDF of the Book of Beginnings has been sent out! You should have received an email from Backerkit allowing you to download it as well as any add-ons you selected. Sometimes it takes a day or two for Backerkit to fully upload this, so if you do not see it right away, that's why. We are ordering the physical books and they should be here and sent out in 2-3 weeks. The shipping process shouldn't take us more than a couple hours once we receive the books from our printer.
Notable Information:
- Our amazing layout artist Suzy Moseby made the PDF in a way that allows you to click on a section in the Table of Contents and it will take you to said section. For example, if you click on "Rising Tides" it will take you to the beginning of that adventure. Pretty cool!
- The character sheets are a separate file from the book. We thought it would be easier for you to download and print them if they weren't apart of the PDF, so those will be a separate download in Backerkit. There is the character sheet and spell sheet all designed by our wonderful artist/cartographer Wonkee.
- The new monsters are in the appendix of the book! We wanted to have some new creations, so those are there for your adventuring pleasure! There are new magic items as well! As far as the common monsters apart of the 5e SRD, we did not include those in an appendix. It would take up about 20-30 pages for just those that are in the SRD and on D&D Beyond.

Greetings, fellow adventurers!
We are nearing the release of the PDF! This is going to be a very beautiful and well laid out book. We landed on 12 complete adventures to kick off your campaign. Also, when in final edits and such, we went out of our way to make sure they would be also easily ran as side quest adventures. The PDF will be out in 1-2 weeks, and from there, our printer will get them printed and to our doorstep in another 1-2 weeks. As stated in the last update, we are running a couple weeks behind due to the disruption of life caused by COVID-19. However, we are nearing the point of releasing this amazing book to all of you amazing people!
I sincerely hope everyone is staying safe during this global tragedy. Thank you again for your patience as we work through these hurdles. We wanted to make sure we release this the right way even though life has been challenging recently. We appreciate each and every one of you!!
